Are those shoes really suitable? Paloma Faith celebrates her birthday by running with the Olympic torch in skyhigh red heels.

As the Olympics get closer more and more people are being spotted carrying the iconic torch as it continues its journey across the country.

While the likes of Zara Phillips and Will.i.am have already been spotted carrying the flame through various locations, today it was singer Paloma Faith's turn.

And it served as a special birthday treat for the star, as she turns 26 today.
